River Plate held its elections using the Electronic Single Ballot

On November 1, Club Atlético River Plate held its general elections in a historic election day: for the first time, an Argentine sports club implemented electronic voting using the Electronic Single Ballot (BUE), a technology developed by COMITIA.

More than 25,000 members took part in the election at Estadio Monumental, setting a new voter turnout record and significantly surpassing participation levels from previous years.

Thanks to the Electronic Single Ballot technology, the process was carried out in an agile, transparent, and accessible manner, even enabling visually impaired voters to cast their ballots independently.

The experience was recognized by authorities, participating lists, and the media for its efficiency and reliability. At COMITIA, we are proud to have supported River Plate throughout this process, contributing our experience, innovation, and commitment to making a secure and modern election possible.

This milestone not only represents a major step forward for the River Plate community, but also for the modernization and transparency of electoral processes in clubs and institutions across the country, setting a historic precedent for future elections.

COMITIA continues to promote technology in service of democracy, developing solutions that foster increasingly simple, reliable, and accessible elections for everyone.

WE CONTINUE MAKING HISTORY.
